If you think that The NANYANG MBA is the right program for you, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible. Make sure you meet the minimum entry requirements.

Only complete applications are processed. An application is deemed complete only with

    1. completion of on-line application form
    2. payment of application fee, and
    3. receipt of all supporting documents.

You may begin your online application at any time during the admissions period for the
upcoming intake. The form is designed to be completed over several sessions - you can add to and edit any information on your application until you submit the completed application.

All documents in hard copy (e.g., official transcripts, letters of recommendation, official test scores), should arrive in our office by 5 p.m. (GMT +8) of the deadline for a given round in
order to be considered for that round.

There are two (2) rounds of application deadlines for the Aug 2010 intake. (See Application Deadlines)

You are now ready to start the application process. Before you do so, please read
the important notes to applicants.


Information for Previous Applicants
If your application for admission was unsuccessful previously, you must wait for at least one year before re-applying. A fresh application will be required and please follow the usual application procedures.

Important Notes to Applicants:
  1. All applications are online, using the online application form.

  2. Please read through the Application Procedure listed below carefully before completing the online application form. The submission of an incomplete application will cause delay in the processing of your application. A complete application includes the receipt of the items as described in Steps 1 to 4 listed below, after which your application will then be processed.

  3. Documents submitted in support of your application are non-returnable. Please send only clearly legible photocopies of documents. Original documents should not be submitted. The University will not be responsible for the loss or damage of original documents submitted.

  4. Please note that application number will be generated automatically and almost immediately if your ONLINE application has been successfully sent. Kindly take note of this application number for future enquiry and checking of application status.

  5. Upon receipt of your application, complete with all the items as described in Steps 2 to 4 listed below, an acknowledgement email will be sent to you. You may check your application status online here only AFTER 3-4 working days after your online submission.

  6. Only successful applicants will be notified.

  7. Any false or inaccurate information, or omission of material information, will render your application invalid. Students admitted on the basis of such information may have their candidature terminated by the University.
 
The APPLICATION PROCESS

Apply using On line Application System

Use our online application system to apply and to check your status. The system walks you through the required steps, including electronically submitted transcripts, referees report. Your completed application should demonstrate strong intellectual capability, solid career progression, professional achievements and leadership potential.

The declaration of personal objectives and essays is an important part of your application- thus should articulate your thoughts clearly. It is important to answer all the questions, using good judgment with respect to the length (number of words). An optional question is presented to present any additional info help the ADCom make informed decisions.

Application Fee & Mode of Payment

The application fee of S$50 may be paid via one of the following modes:

- Cheque/bank draft payable to 'Nanyang Technological University'. Your full name and address must be written on the reverse side of the cheque/bank draft. For international applicants, please pay by bank draft with clearing bank in Singapore.
   
- Via Visa/Mastercard. Please note that the application fee is non-refundable and an application received without attached payment will not be processed.
 
Submit your supporting documents.

NOTE: In order to ensure that your documents  are received in order, send  All your support documents together if possible.
Properly label all your documents  with your application number.

Resume

GMAT and TOEFL

You can submit by instructing the respective test centers to forward your test scores to our school directly. The institution code is V24-ZV-13. Or send a photocopy of the test results

Two  [2] Referees reports (also known as recommendation letters) [Download Referees Report Form]

Use only the Official Referee's Reports-substitutes are not accepted.  Must come from two (2) different individuals  in sealed envelopes or via email to mba.admissions@ntu.edu.sg using the referees official (company) e-mail address, indicating designation and contact details of the referees. Only referees report are to be sent to this e-mail address

a.

Degree Scroll(s) (must be in English, otherwise an official English translation must be provided)

Transcript(s) of academic records from each university attended (must be in English, otherwise an official English translation must be provided)

GCE 'A' Level Certificate or pre-university or high school certificate (university entrance exam results)

 

d.

Professional Membership Certificates, if any

 

e.

NRIC/Passport/Citizenship Certificate/Documentary proof of Singapore Permanent Resident Status (eg. Re-entry Permit)

Documentary evidence of Immigration Pass (e.g. Employment Pass or Dependant's Pass) issued by the Singapore Immigration & Registration, if applicable

For those residing in India, please submit your CAT (Common Admission Test) score if you have taken the test.
This is to supplement GMAT, and not to replace it. The other admission requirements remain unchanged.

STEP 3: Assessment

The Admissions Committee will review your application and will render one of the following decisions:

Invited for interview --> Move to Step Four
NOTE: Interview decisions are made on a rolling basis, and there is no significance as to when you are invited for an interview. You can be invited for an interview up to and including the day of the decision deadline. If you receive an interview invitation on or close to the decision deadline, your timeline for interviewing and receiving an admissions decision will be delayed slightly from the published timeline.

Waitlist
Your application is still active, and will be considered for the next round.

Deny
If you are not selected for interview, it only means that there are better candidates in the pool. Your application has come to an end.

Feedback Timeline

We will inform you if we would like you to proceed to the next stage, which is the interview within 6 weeks after the application deadline to which you applied. We will then confirm via e-mail if you have been selected after the interviews have been concluded.

Check your Status

You can check your status on line.

STEP 4: Interview

If invited for the interview, follow the instructions given by the Admissions Office. Interviews can be face to face, via video or phone calls. Candidates living abroad are welcome to be interviewed at Nanyang Business School, but are not expected to do so. International interviews are conducted by alumni or Admissions Committee members traveling overseas.

The interview is a 30 minute conversation-we are interested in meeting you and knowing you better. Be prepared to pace your answers. Being the author of your application and feeling comfortable are excellent preparations by itself.

Note : If you are having trouble with the scheduled dates, please contact our Admissions Officer immediately.
After your interview is completed, your online status will remain For Interview.

STEP 5: Final Decision

The Admissions Committee will review your application again and will render one of the following decisions:

Offer
If you choose to accept the offer of admission, please submit your deposit and all required documents. Required materials will be listed in your official offer letter, as well as on the admitted student portal checklist.

Reserve
Your application will be reviewed again during subsequent rounds until a final decision is rendered at the end of the admission period. Please let the Admissions Office know as soon as possible if you decide to make other plans.

Deny
Your application has come to an end.
